The Grapes is a small detached cottage just for two, tucked away up a steep single track road behind Penally Manor, with 4 other holiday cottages, set on the hillside in the seaside village of Penally just a mile from the harbour town of Tenby. 5 steps lead up into this cosy cottage, to the front is an enclosed paved terrace with the most lovely view over the coast to Caldey Island and the sea. A perfect spot to sit and relax with a glass of wine or an alfresco meal while you soak up the wonderful view.

The cottage has been updated with laminate flooring and a contemporary yet comfortable feel, the open plan living space with its vaulted ceiling and A-frame beams has a modern fitted kitchen area, comfy sofa and dining table, 4 steps take you into the bedroom, a welcome retreat.

Conveniently located there is a village pub and restaurant within walking distance, the stunning South Beach is a 20 minute downhill walk away. Enjoy spending your days on the beach, trying your hand at a range of watersports popular on this long stretch of sand. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this amazing coastline with its selection of beautiful beaches and coastal villages including Lydstep, Manorbier, Saundersfoot and Amroth. The bustling seaside medieval walled town of Tenby is only a mile away, with its pretty cobbled streets and picturesque harbour. It has an excellent range of pubs, restaurants and shops to explore. A boat trip to the monastic island of Caldey should not be missed, soak up its peaceful unique atmosphere. There is something for everyone nearby and keen golfers will enjoy the choice of golf courses including Trefloyne Country Club and Tenby Golf Course.

The Grapes is a delightful holiday cottage for a couple to enjoy a welcome romantic break whatever the season.

Approach to The Grapes is via a steep single track road. A single parking space is located at the bottom of the steps leading to the front door of the property. Property is accessed via 5 steps; a handrail is provided on the right-hand wall. There is a further step after a small garden gate which encloses the property’s small garden. Garden slopes slightly up to a flat concrete area. A raised patio is positioned at the front of the property on the same level as the ground floor. It is accessed via the front door or from the steps leading up to the property. It is enclosed by a 90cm wall on two sides and the property gable and a 2m wall on the other 2 sides. Garden furniture is provided. Guests are not met on arrival. Property consists of a small bathroom and an open plan kitchen/lounge on one level and a double bedroom on a slightly raised level. Bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment, a toilet and wash basin. Kitchen is L shaped with low-level oven, built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher and combi washing machine/tumble dryer (extendable washing line positioned on side of property and accessed via garden). Two sets of cupboards are positioned at head height above sink. Lounge area has a sofa and armchair, coffee table, over head lamp and TV. TV is operated via remote control. Windows have Venetian blinds which are manually operated. Bedroom is accessed via four steps; handrails are provided on the wall to left and right. The room has a double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a small dressing table and mirror and a clothes hanger shelf. Windows have Roman blinds and are set in thick walls approximately 40cm deep. Property is well-lit throughout and has an external light by the front door, switch inside front door. There is public transport - bus stop and train station in village. Approximately 200m down steep hill.
